I've unlocked my draft version for the final chapter on AO3 and posted it (links below).
The version on SWG is not updated yet.
I think maybe the summary needs a tweak, but I'm not sure what to add.

Written for Tolkien Weekly. I'd been homesick for Maedhros/Fingon...
Links above go to AO3. The original LJ post is here:

It moved! This WIP actually consented to move! That is: "Such Great Deeds", aka probably the longest and most rambling conversation between Fingon and Beleg ever written, set during a walk our two protagonists take at night through Barad Eithel.

This snippet itself isn't actually that long, but it's progress: Beleg and Fingon indulge in a bit of musing about Aman and Finwe.

I haven't posted anything to Dreamwidth for a while.
Most of what I have written in the meantime is cross-posted from LJ to AO3, if not elsewhere.
This piece is not. It was written for Oshun as a birthday gift and is a snippet from "Such Great Deeds", but I haven't written the intervening passage yet.

Summary: During a walk at night through Barad Eithel, Beleg and Fingon briefly talk about Maedhros.
Warnings: reference to multiple deaths during war time
Pairing: Fingon/Maedhros (implicit)
Word count: c. 450 words

I've written Findis for the first time and I've written her as an eccentric saint or mystic.
Besides Tallulah's prompts, this piece also owes a little to a plot bunny by Tehta.

Somewhat perversely, this was written for the LoM challenge, but is actually less slashy than my contribution to the SWG Challenge (which hasn't been revealed yet)--although it is part of my Maedhros series and so Fingon/Maedhros is obviously an essential part of the backstory.

Title: A Season on Taniquetil

Summary: For some time, Fingon has settled back into life in Tirion, learning to live without Maedhros. Now duty to a relative summons him elsewhere, into Vanyarin territory.
Setting: Valinor, after Fingon's re-embodiment
Rated: Teens
Characters: Fingon, Findis
Warning: unspecific religious references and (possibly) depressing themes
Length: Quadrabble (4 x 100 words according to MS Word)

Written for the Library of Moria challenge for International Fanworks Day 2015 (http://libraryofmoria.livejournal.com/352008.html)
Prompts (supplied by Tallulah): shoes, mountain, contraption

Another snippet of Such Great Deeds--progressing in such tiny steps...

Time: shortly before the Nirnaeth
Rating: Teens
Warnings: none
Length: c. 450 words

What went before:
‘Tell me, Beleg,’ said Fingon, abruptly, as they walked alone together through Barad Eithel that night—‘if we should be defeated—but of course we shall win!—will Doriath stand, on its own?'
And: 'I am driven to the conclusion that, apparently, I understand neither the powers of Queen Melian and her daughter nor their limitations… You would know much more of this, I imagine, than I.’
Here now is Beleg's answer.

There's that writing meme going round--it's all very interesting, but I guess I'm sort of superstitious and afraid that if I talk too much about it, whatever it is that works will stop working...

Anyway, I got this moving again (I guess it was the bank holiday!). Another chunk of conversation!

Characters: Beleg,  Fingon,
Rating: Teens
Warnings: consumption of alcohol, angst
Word Count: c.850

The story so far: In the run-up to the Battle of the Nirnaeth Arnoediad: Mablung and Beleg have arrived in Barad Eithel and are waiting for the call to action, but the host of Hithlum has not quite finished assembling and there is still a bit of a lull before the storm.
During  a chance encounter, Beleg has been alerted by Captain Berion that the local innkeeper has sent for help in dealing with Gwindor, who is drinking heavily in her establishment. He has offered to go and keep an eye on things while Berion goes looking for a friend of Gwindor's to come and fetch him back safely to his quarters. When Beleg arrives at the inn, Gwindor turns out to be seemingly volatile and by no means completely lucid, but not actually physically aggressive. Berion arrives with Gwindor's friend. To Beleg's surprise, Fingon is also with them. He persuades Gwindor to leave. Fingon discusses Gwindor's past history with Beleg.

Another instalment.
Perhaps I should not post this part separately, as it ends in the middle of a conversation--but the conversation is a long one and I fear that, due to RL goings-on, the story might be about to get stalled again. I don't want to leave posting it until it gets cold, as it were.

Characters: Beleg, Gwindor, Fingon, Forgam (OMC), Berion (OMC)
Rating: Teens
Warnings: consumption of alcohol, angst of the Dagor Bragollach variety, slightly dubious canonicity
Word Count: c.1700

(A little gloomy for Easter, I'm afraid. Sorry!)

The following quote was a B2MeM prompt in 2013. At the time, I sort of cheated and wrote "A Little Slow", which is wholly set in Tirion.
Then recently, during the Silm Re-Read, the quote came up again:

"Fëanor and his sons abode seldom in one place for long, but travelled far and wide upon the confines of Valinor, going even to the borders of the Dark and the cold shores of the Outer Sea, seeking the unknown".

Characters: Fingon, Maedhros
Setting: Valinor

It's three months since I posted the last instalment! Tough going...

Characters: Mablung, Fingon, Beleg, Cirdan
Warnings: a bit angsty
Rating: Teens
Word count: c.950

Summary: Beleg and Fingon met at Ivrin, just before the Mereth Aderthad. Beleg took a liking to Fingon and Fingon revealed that Beleg was a childhood hero of this. However, even then, things were somewhat strained by the diplomatic situation between the Noldor and Doriath--and not  long afterwards Angrod revealed the secret of the Kinslaying at Alqualonde, in which Fingon was also involved, although less culpably so than the Sons of Feanor.
However, rather than dealing directly with the consequences of that revelation, I'm skipping straight ahead to the period just before the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Beleg and Mablung arrive in Barad Eithel...

I only posted this to Tolkien Weekly yesterday--copying it across to my journal anyway...

This was written for petite_dilly as a seasonal gift.
I chose a prompt from the Mulled Wine Challenge at Tolkien Weekly for inspiration with the intention of ensuring seasonality--although the result does not entirely match the intention. The specific prompt was Cinnamon.

Title: Memory and Spice
Summary: The Sindar have found out about the Kinslaying in Alqualonde and that Fingon was involved. Not a good time for Fingon, even though the Sindar have decided that he is less to blame than the Sons of Feanor--especially as Maedhros remains in the Marches and  the cousins are communicating only by letter.
Characters
: Cirdan, Fingon (Q. Findekano), Maedhros (Q. Maitimo)
Pairing: Maedhros/Fingon (but actually pre-slash)
Rating: PG
Format: a quadrabble (4 x 100 words according to MS Word)

I badly wanted some Maedhros/Fingon fluff, so I wrote myself some.
Fingon and Maedhros en route on their trip to visit Hurin in Dor-lomin.
Mostly harmless (i.e. Teens, no warnings)
Word count: c.660 words

Summary:
Beleg has accompanied Mablung and Daeron to the Feast of Reuniting at Ivrin. He is welcomed by Fingon, who assists the party from Doriath in setting up. Beleg has neglected to inform Fingon that he plans to leave Ivrin again the following day. When he goes through with his plan, Fingon suspects that Beleg has taken offence at something one of the Noldor said to him and follows him to sort matters out.
